So it's been two years since I graduated college and moved from the humble city of Pocatello, Idaho to Utah. Ill prepared for the rigorous job-hunt and post-collegiate life adjustment that followed. Unsure really of what kind of job I wanted, or what I wanted to do. Did I regret not changing my major all those times the idea came into my head? Sometimes. This is all very typical.

So I got a job at Dillard's and hated it, then I got another job, moved, became a copywriter and that's where we are now. But do I want a "career"? Not really Therein lies my problem, a lack of true ambition. Many of my friend have grand artistic ambitions, and I am constantly gripped by the fear that I don't have the talent to see any of my artistic visions through to fruition. I also, like most everyone, hate the 40 hour work week and the bullshit that comes with it.

i don't know why the post was titled Minutia. talking about art, life, and the very hated essence of the industrial society -- that's more like ... Maximutia or something.
