Whether Tarzan Boy also has that just-right combination of annoyance, cheesiness, '80s nostalgia, and enjoyability in spite of ourselves —— who can say?
Tarzan, in his purest form, is a racist. So, being a society wherein racism is rightly frowned upon, the correct choice was made. The correct choice during the European, imperialist age, would of course have been Tarzan Boy.
